Size Guide

Azumorri carries a range of formal dresses, gowns, kaftans, and outerwear, most of which are offered in letter sizes from S through 3XL. Some styles also include XS. Because fit varies by silhouette and construction, the most reliable way to choose your size is to measure yourself, then compare those numbers to the size information on the specific product page you are considering.

Measuring Your Bust, Waist, and Hips

Most Azumorri garments list bust, waist, and hip as the key measurement points. Use a soft, flexible tape measure and wear close-fitting undergarments or no bulky layers.

  • Bust: Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, keeping it parallel to the floor. The tape should sit snug against your skin without compressing.
  • Waist: Find the narrowest part of your natural waist, usually just above the navel. Hold the tape level and relaxed, not cinched tight.
  • Hips: Measure around the widest point of your hips and upper buttocks. Stand with your feet together and keep the tape horizontal all the way around.

Record each measurement in inches. Manual measurements can vary by roughly 0.4 to 1.2 inches depending on technique, so measure twice if you are between numbers.

Body Measurements vs. How a Garment Fits

Your body measurements describe you. A garment's fit describes how the fabric moves around your body. A slim column gown and a flowing kaftan made in the same letter size will feel very different on the same person. That is why Azumorri does not publish one universal size chart across all 251 products.

When you open a product page, look for a size chart that lists bust, waist, and hip ranges mapped to each letter size. Those ranges are meant to be compared against your own body measurements. If your measurements fall within a range, that size is a starting point; the product description and fit notes will help you judge whether the silhouette will feel close or generous on you.

Reading Fit Notes on Product Pages

Each item carries its own description of how it is cut. Some gowns are described as slim or tailored through the bust, waist, and hips. Others are described as relaxed or flowing, designed to skim rather than cling. Outerwear may note that you should consider sizing up if you plan to layer thick knitwear underneath.

A few practical steps when deciding between two sizes:

  • Identify which measurement is most critical for that style. For a column gown, bust and hip fit matter most. For a kaftan, the relaxed drape means exact numbers are less constraining.
  • Check whether the product description includes a recommendation for between-size situations. Some items suggest sizing up; others do not. Follow the guidance on that specific page rather than applying a blanket rule.
  • Consider your own comfort preference. A tailored fit on a beaded gown is intentional; if you prefer more ease through the torso, that is a valid reason to look at the next size up, provided the product page supports it.

Comparing a Garment You Already Own

If you have a dress or coat that fits you well, you can lay it flat and measure the bust, waist, and hip points across the garment itself. This gives you a finished-product reference. Keep in mind that flat-lay garment measurements are not the same as body measurements. Use them as a comparison tool only when the product page also lists garment dimensions, not as a substitute for measuring your body.

Still Unsure? Ask Before You Order

If the size information on a product page does not clearly resolve your question, send a message to service@azumorri.shop. To give you the most useful reply, include:

  • The product name or link
  • The sizes you are comparing
  • Your bust, waist, and hip measurements in inches
  • How you would like the garment to feel (close-fitting, relaxed, roomy for layering, etc.)

Our team can point you toward the size range that best matches the information on that product page. We cannot guarantee a perfect fit from a message alone, but we can help you make a more informed choice before ordering.
